“ When I saw this restaurant got featured in “Paolo from Tokyo” channel, I knew we had to try this. So, during the long weekend, we finally got the chance to come here and try their food. And it did not disappoint. The smoked Wagyu brisket was divine, even without the sauce. It was soft, tender, juicy and flavorful. I mean, how can you go wrong with smoked brisket, right? But making smoked brisket from Wagyu just took it to another level. This is much better than the brisket we had in Hawaii. It also tastes more delicious than the smoked Wagyu brisket from “slice of life” in shibuya. My daughter doesn’t like meat very much but when it comes to Wagyu, she couldn’t say no. So, we had to order 1 more Wagyu brisket. The burnt ends were also flavorful. We also ordered half and half rice bowl. It had 1 spare rib and pulled pork in it. It came with 2 side dishes: coleslaw and what I think is chili con carne. Both were good. The Wagyu burger is a must-try as well. It was juicy and had a smoky flavor as well. I love the fact that they served it with a whole pickle on the side. My kids do not like the pickle so I had it all for myself. It helped balance the richness of the dishes we had. The fries were exceptional as well. It was deep fried in beef tallow and was served with garlic mayo with truffle oil. The staff were all friendly and nice. And most of all, they all speak English, which is a big plus for foreigners like me. If there’s one thing I didn’t like, it’s the serving size. It has to bigger. It’s Texas-style after all, lol. But seriously, I highly recommend this restaurant. Your whole family will enjoy its food. And it is also pet-friendly. Will definitely come back when we visit Karuizawa again. ”

“ We stayed at Karuizawa for 2 nights. Both me and my wife love meat, so we searched for nearby restaurants. Luckily we saw smokemanship, on our first night they were full, but thankfully they have a to-go option. We enjoyed our meal in our hotel, so much that we ordered again on our next night! we love their wagyu brisket. The pulled pork was also good, however the wagyu brisket was on a different level. Plus the staff were very accommodating. They move fast and very polite. ”

“ Actually kinda looks like America abit the meat was amazingly smokey, but that also means the entire restaurant is enveloped in smoke. The Wagyu beef was delicious but very very fatty & the ribs was dry unfortunately. But overall still a good experience & everything was quite good. ”
